Always on top "Oh no! Something has gone wrong" windows

I will sometimes see the "fail whale" something has gone wrong windows.  In ubuntu before 22.04 I was able to kill the gnome-shell when it was acting strange.  Now if I try to run "gnome-shell -r" it will come up with a window that says "Oh no! Something has gone wrong."


However, you can still get to your windows with alt-tab and see your open windows with Super, but you can't see them due to the "Oh no!" window being "always on top".


If you use the Alt+space menu, you can deselect Always on top, then alt+tab to your desired window and continue working!
